@Eleventhearlofmars The problem is more people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party. And they are the ones that swing the result.

@Eleventhearlofmars Voting will never be made compulsory because the establishment knows it can keep it's grip on power with minimal votes.

@Eleventhearlofmars They were given power by the people who didn't bother to vote. Over 19 million registered voters. So once again the country has the government it deserves rather than the government it has elected.

@rs6437 1997-2008 NHS burdened with all the PFI. Country burdened with debt from the illegal war. Workers hit with the national insurance rise. Pitiful minimum wage that dragged all wages down with it. The banking crisis for which the groundwork had been laid. I could go on but I'm getting bored.
