More people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party... Just let that sink in.. The "clever people" will tell you that voting makes no difference Are you feeling clever yet? They are in the Netherlands 🥳 Vote for anyone but the main parties, if no other party is standing then spoil your ballot paper. Not voting is not a protest, all that achieves is to help the establishment stay in power with minimal votes. Labour/Tories makes no difference which one wins, the real power lies with the civil service which never changes. None of the main parties will put them back in their box. Liz truss said she wanted to sort out the civil service and she didn't last long. Sunak had already destroyed the economy so don't listen to all the bullshit coming from the establishment. Cue the trolls 🤪

@nigelsynnott7344 It could be argued that the government had no legitimacy. Unfortunately the "clever people" argue that people shouldn't vote as voting gives the government legitimacy. Unfortunately as discussed not voting gives the government all the legitimacy they need. Makes you wonder who is really to blame for the state of the country.

@nigelsynnott7344 Who's fault is it that? People are given the option to vote but can't be bothered, and then spend all day moaning. The same with Khan in London, more people didn't bother to vote than voted for him. How many people are crying about ulez that didn't bother to vote. The indigenous population of this country are the architects of their own demise and they need to wake up.

@HåkonOdinsson If people don't trust politicians why do they help them to stay in their cushy jobs. Why not punish them? I have a theory but the YouTube algorithm won't let me post it.

@seanseverythingandanything6440 Let's see you exercise that power. You probably don't even exercise your right to vote.

@nigelsynnott7344 Those figures are taken from the people who voted they don't count non votes. So that's 40 odd percent of 60 odd percent.

@nigelsynnott7344 I haven't worked out the actual figures but using basic maths the winning party got less than 30% so as I stated more people didn't bother to vote than voted for any single party. They don't tell you the full story when they publish the figures so most people just assume the opposite. The establishment knows more people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party, why do you think voting isn't compulsory like some other countries? The establishment wants the silent majority to stay that way. Think about it.

@nigelsynnott7344 PR unfortunately would just maintain the establishments grip on power. The voting public has the power to change things but they are happy to maintain the status quo.

@nigelsynnott7344 One or the other would be in a coalition or you would have a scrappy rainbow coalition which would be too busy with infighting rather than making any meaningful changes.

Again the non voters have just handed 2 seats to Labour. Well done to the people of Wellingborough and Kingswood. 🤡
