Less than 14 million people voted for the Tories in 2019. So if everyone who voted for Brexit comes out to vote against the establishment we can finish what we started. Remember at the forthcoming election what the Tories did to the country in 2020 whilst they were partying. And don't forget Labour supported everything. Persuading people not to vote is how the Labour activists hope to win a big majority. Don't fall into their trap. More people didn't bother to vote than voted for Khan. More people didn't bother to vote than voted for Galloway. More people didn't bother to vote than voted for the Tories at the last general election. Do you see a pattern? Think about it after the next election when you spend the following 5 years crying in your beer. More people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party... Just let that sink in.. The "clever people" will tell you that voting makes no difference Are you feeling clever yet? Vote for anyone but the main parties, if no other party is standing spoil your ballot paper. Not voting is not a protest, all that achieves is to help these useless politicians stay in power with minimal votes. Labour/Tories makes no difference which one wins, the real power lies with the civil service which never changes. None of the main parties will put them back in their box. Liz truss said she wanted to sort out the civil service and she didn't last long. Sunak had already destroyed the economy so don't listen to all the bullshit coming from the establishment. They are all a waste of space, but why help them to sit in their seats for years on end taking the money? Vote for anyone else and take away their cushy jobs. Not voting is just rewarding them. Cue the trolls 🤪 D 4v

Over 19 million people didn't bother to vote and handed Starmer power without a fight. Are you feeling clever yet?
70
People sat back and allowed Labour to win without a fight. The people of this country only have themselves to blame.
50
Over 19 million people stayed quiet at the last election. How did that work out?
34
More people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party. Tells you everything you need to know.
33
The people of this country only have themselves to blame. Over 19 million registered voters didn't bother to vote, so there is no point in blaming the establishment. The country has the government it deserves rather than the government it has elected.

@edoak1120 More people didn't bother to vote than voted for Labour. How is the non compliance working out?

@simchalebovitch6944 Far more didn't bother to vote and handed power to Starmer without a fight.

@Alan-J-Mock More people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party. So people are obviously happy with the uni-party.

@snowyowel7961 Yep I know all too well.

People need to stop blaming the politicians. It's the people who put them there or don't bother to vote and hand them power without a fight. Over 19 million of them at the last election didn't bother to vote and handed Starmer power without a fight. How is the non compliance working out?

The minority rules when the majority stays silent. More people didn't bother to vote than voted for Khan. More people didn't bother to vote than voted for Galloway.  @IXXI7 Yes then the MPs would have just voted themselves in. You are obviously one of the clever ones.
4
Over 19 million didn't bother to vote. Well done 🤡

@JillLawton-zt8me It's not just about winning seats. Reduce the vote share of the establishment and they will panic. Just like when UKIP forced Cameron to hold the EU referendum.

A quick question for the over 19 million people who didn't bother to vote and handed power to the usual suspects without a fight. Are you feeling clever yet??
3
@kurt1391 Mark twain was a satirist. But that will be lost on most people.
3
@englishrose9809 When people are too frightened to put a cross on a piece of paper because they might lose their free cider and cigarettes they certainly won't be doing anything else.

Over 19 million people didn't bother to vote and handed Starmer power without a fight. How is the non compliance working out?

Over 19 million people didn't bother to vote and therefore keep handing power to the usual suspects. Are people really surprised that parliament keeps laughing at the population? 🤡
2
Over 19 million registered voters didn't bother to vote in the last election. The people of this country only have themselves to blame. How did the non compliance work out? How did not voting to "send a message" work out?? 🤪
2
@donnaspeer2760 London has the Mayor they deserve not the Mayor they voted for. I'm guessing the same will be true after the general election.
2
I wonder how many of the over 19 million registered voters who didn't bother to vote and handed power to these extremists are feeling clever, having abandoned their children to be brainwashed.
2
@raffam3559 More people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party. Because people listen to things like this.

@petelong5708 So the choice is between Mr Farage or Sir Starmer? Or do you want the privately educated Corbyn.
1
@petelong5708 I would hope that people would get rid of the whole establishment every time they get the chance. That includes Reform if they end up dancing to the tune of the civil service. Only then will the political class realise that they have to prove themselves worthy of the job instead of just putting their snouts in the trough for years on end because people don't have the imagination to vote for alternatives. Having said that all I get from your rant is a scene from the classic film rhubarb. Only all I hear instead of rhubarb is "Magic Grandpa lost I hate you"

The problem is that too many people rely on the establishment for their free cider and cigarettes and are too frightened to rock the boat. Better the devil you know. Until the devil comes knocking.

@factcheckersbranch I have some shares for sale in a lunar cheese factory. High risk high reward. Are you interested?

@factcheckersbranch Quoting Mark Twain. Look into what he was inferring. Quite apt.

I will tell you exactly why this is happening. The indigenous population spends all day telling each other that voting makes no difference whilst the non indigenous population is voting as a block. And the establishment knows that. Over 19 million registered voters voluntarily gagged themselves and handed power to Labour without a fight.

The establishment knows that they can stay in power with minimal votes. Plus the indigenous population spends all day telling each other that voting makes no difference whilst the non indigenous population vote as a block. More people don't bother to vote than vote for any single party so the country ends up with the government it deserves rather than the government it has elected.

Unfortunately Farage is only interested in Farage. The usual suspects are kept in power by the people who don't bother to vote. Over 19 million of them at the last election. How is the non compliance working out?

Mark Twain was a satirist and he was saying that the electorate are idiots A quotation misattributed to Mark Twain is circulating online and suggests the famous writer disparaged voting. Actually, he celebrated it
