The oldest of these houses were built in 1960. But these are strong houses, and they do not collapse from the wind, like American ones. And every year, many apartments were constantly built in the USSR, and now about 90 million square meters of comfortable housing are being built annually in Russia. Some very poor people live in old houses built of wood. But in Russia there is now a program for the free relocation of people from old houses to new ones.
