The Minsk agreements were originally invented by the West only to prepare Ukraine for war against Russia. And Western leaders have already admitted this. And Zelensky, having come to power, immediately declared that he did not know about any Minsk agreements, had never read them and was not going to fulfill them. The main problem with the interpretation of the Budapest Memorandum was that the document was not ratified by any of the parties. The Budapest Memorandum did not oblige Russia to agree with the state unconstitutional armed coup and genocide of the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine. "When we point out that this is an unconstitutional coup, we are told: no, this is not an armed seizure of power, this is a revolution. And if this is a revolution, then it is difficult for me to disagree with some of our experts who believe that a new state is emerging on this territory ... and we have not signed any binding documents with this state and in relation to this state," Russian President Vladimir Putin said about the coup organized by the West in Ukraine.
