  1. Due to the aversion to telling the truth in history, the Oklahoma State Superintendent of Schools, Ryan Walters, won’t “allow” it to be taught. Teachers won’t use the book for novel studies in fear of being dismissed because a state law doesn’t want a student to feel uncomfortable about what their ancestors did. Hogwash. Talk about snowflakes! Understanding history should make a lot of us feel uncomfortable!
