  1. They don't teach that anymore. We had it in HS. In 50 years of driving I've never had a Hwy. Accident. "Can touch this" had MANY 'close calls' but close isn't contact. Close only counts in horseshoes, handgrenades, and H-Bombs, everyone will find out too soon.

  3. Just because an "insurance company" says someone is "100% at fault" doesn't make it so. If you don't agree, go to court. I took a lady to court who cut me off in my fully loaded truck. Did little to my truck but her Forrester got several grand in damage and my Ins. didn't pay her damage. I went to court and the judge ruled in my favor 65%, that was enough to cover my damage and then some because I sued for the Max in Small Claims $5K. So I pocketed some profit for my time.
