  1. Totally agree. Especially people who use the wrong words then call you grammar police if you try and help with them, getting defensive and saying you should understand the context anyway, that’s wilful ignorance. I don’t mean the odd mistake but actual different words like “discussing” for “disgusting” or “intimate” for “intimidate” or “except” for “accept” It changes the whole meaning then they get annoyed people don’t understand them but don’t think grammar, punctuation or spelling is important.

I know it’s definitely not jealousy but I’m not sure how to explain why I hate people who over use the word “wholesome” to describe anything & everything as if they’ve just learnt a new word recently and need to use it. The baby’s new shoes are so wholesome. The duck crossing the road is the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen. The sunset over Mount Fuji (sic) looks so wholesome. 😱🤦🏾
