This so true! A classic example of not having critical thinking is the Mandela Effect. People hear something wrong, don’t quite see something, repeat it, others do the same, then it becomes common, then they get very nasty and defensive when proven wrong coz they were too lazy or impatient to actually look up a few different sources to find out what is real

@user-ss9wg2yq3o you don’t have to be in that generation or alive in the decade to know what they are, people can pick out what is 50s, 60s,70s, 80s,90s without being born in it, nothing to do with being out of touch. Everyone of any age knows the overused cringe slang “Rizz” and “wholesome”, “no cap” etc coz they never stop saying it all the time

That’s because they watch fake TikTok videos of people pretending to have money and having some made up jet set lifestyle. Everyone wants to be rich for having no skill or talent, too lazy to learn anything

It’s coz they watch videos of fake TikTok pretending they have a jet set lifestyle for having no skills or talent and think anyone can make money doing nothing

Gen z hates tradition because it means they have to accept something different when they think they are right all the time, they think everyone else gets it wrong but they know how to do it the right way. They forget people existed before 2000 and tradition works because it’s been tested over the years but they can’t accept that, then if anything goes wrong they’ll blame all the other generations instead of fixing it

@user-ss9wg2yq3o so you’ve never looked at things and thought they’re typical of that decade even though you weren’t there? Never looked at big hair and shoulder pads thought that’s 80s? Seen flares and bandanas and thought thats 70s?

@user-ss9wg2yq3o yeah I’ve got one I’ve had for years before it was common with having Afro hair but that’s not counted as historical, thats now!
