@Lyrikle Imagine if she met Yahweh who's real in Marvel universe, and if she told him about Thor. It could be a funny moment because Yahweh says he didn't write Quran or the Bible, and all gods exist so it could give her some new perspective on existence.

@Tyler_W Tbh, Islam's Djinns are more complex than Bibilical Demons due to a cultural and theological difference. According to Christianity, Demons are all evil because they defied Yahweh, and they're irredeemable. However, Islamic Djinns can be far more complex. You have Djinns that fight against Angels like classic Demons, Djinns that just chill, and benevolent Djinns. What's even more interesting? They can be pagan or monotheist as well, and some were worshipped as gods which led to the whole "They're the pagan gods" theory. Overall, I think you're right. Modern occultism and esoteric logic is flawed, and that's why gods became cringe characters in (JRPG plots lol) most adaptations.

@RanMouri82 SMT franchise? It's often God bad go kill him, and sometimes it's laughably cringe or makes no sense. In SMT II, you serve God the whole route. Zayin (Law hero) is basically defying God's angels on earth because he believes they're not serving God & that genocide is bad. However, later in Law Route he agrees with God and Gabriel to nuke the earth then suddenly turns on God, and saying that he's going to punish God for committing the sin of genocide XD (This plot was laughable) SMT IV Apocalypse? It has reddit takes in the final fight against God because apparently annoying God weakens him (If God good, why bad happens? *God gets weaker*), and plus edgy nietzche mentality = good writing. Japanese devs only have that problem with the Abrahamic deity because they depend on Gnosticism (It demonizes Abrahamic God), Nietzche (He's an edgelord who hated God because muh morality strong God slave morality), and Jung (A Gnostic) In fact, I wish I could find one JRPG that actually had a decent deity who felt like a real character not some boss with slightly higher stats.

Hmmm, I bet they will force a character to be gay, they will mock Illu Avatar, they will try to sound edgy, they will show humans as bad, and finally end with a black trans elf killing CEO of humans because Orcs are super-oppressed 😭😔 "My digga, let's save these oppressed minorities from humans." Jokes aside, I love diversity but to westerners there's only one type of diversity which is skin-color related not as in diversity of ideas or themes. What's even worse? They ruin diversity by making the writing fan-fictionesque & immature. Anyway, I bet my whole life that this series will crash & burn. Any media that tries to insert modern politics or ideologies into an ancient or fantasy or even sci-fi setting will fail. The media that didn't learn from Wheels of Time will accuse far-right (white supremacists) & gamers of causing it to fall like they always do. I even lost hope in Halo TV series...

@RanMouri82 Like seriously in SMT Nine, religious people are defying God. What I hate about SMT is lack of choice, and the false gray morality. Game claims that you have a choice, yet you end up defying God 24/7 even on his route due to "God bad humanity good" logic that JRPGs have. What's worse? Every religious character there is a pretender! Zelenin? She turns on God, and kills him, thus her belief is gone. Zayin? Dude is a hypocrite who blames God for something he and the protagonist participated in too. Maria in Nine is virgin Mary yet she turns on her husband aka God because God bad XD XD. Protagonist of SMT II is somehow Jesus which is even more laughable 🤣 SMT IV and IV Apocalypse is same with religious people either being evil (not in a funny way), turning on God to become good (implying that believing in God = war crimes), or get killed by the protagonist who represents xenophobia and Japanese nationalism. I actually want to know if that franchise is a satire or the devs are really racist or something?

@hysuka2 Japan is unironically more conservative than the so-called Evangelical ones of US, and they see the leftist politics as natural enemies of their culture. Don't forget that Shintoism isn't like Abrahamic religions so they're extremely hostile to accepting enemy's ideology because some random dude preached forgiveness years ago. In conclusion, they are better than us because they don't bend the knee unless it's for their culture!

@hysuka2 America should stop this cycle of self-hatred while working on their relationship with other countries. If you keep on hating yourself, soon you will end up projecting your hatred unto others in name of whatever you believe in.
