I understand your pain (kinda as I also saw the horrors of Anfal and other nightmarish events) History books in Iraq and Kurdistan region often ignore Iraq and the region's role in discrimination and genocide against Assyrians which is disgusting. Even today in Iraq, Turkey, and Syria... They are divided or fall victim to political issues. In Iraqi Kurdistan, they some Assyrians are allies of PDK (which is unironically racist against them) and PUK (which is cold or uncaring at best) or fall victim to lies of the Shia-dominated Iraqi parliament. In Syria, half of them support FSA, the others support SAA, and a part supports SDF (all of which aren't that friendly or benevolent to their identity as one is Islamist, the other is Arab-Nationalist, and the third is Commie) In Turkey, let's see... They could try to make themselves the allies of Turkish leftists because that might save them. However, most of those leftist parties are either useless or weak (HDP comes to mind) I hope your kind survives until another era, my brothers. I hope Christ protects you until then.

Another reason that makes it terrible and shameful is that Armenians in general helped our nation and culture survive, so I feel like it's a backstab. Even today, they are far more friendly to us. When Sykes Picott created Iraq, Kurds were not asked by British dudes as they expected those countries to honor their promise of an independent land. What made it worse? The governments from Royal Family to Ba'ath were not so nice which led to Kurds harboring some of a grudge. Later, that grudge increased due to Pan-Arabism mindset in Iraq and entire Middle-East which aimed to erase them and deny their historical existence (it's kinda still going on in Middle-East) so it is not easy to end when you're near like 10 Arab countries at best 😅. Another factor is hero worship in both Iraq and Kurdistan region. Kurds love and adore their revolutionaries that's why they keep voting for those parties despite them being corrupt, and in Iraq we have people who still praise Saddam Hussein 😅 and those figures were enemies, so? Yeah. Besides, racism in both sides is growing alot. Final factor is religion, and how it affects them. Kurdistan region is Sunni af compared to Iraq which is currently Shia dominated. You remember the negative Shia hadiths about Kurds being djinns? It makes allying with them to be hard, and Iraqi Sunnis are extremely sus because they unironically liked Ba'ath. In conclusion, it is impossible to become frens.

I would also try to remove the unholy occupation of the three main Iraqi positions of power by the Arabs and Kurds, and make it open to anyone as long as they're skilled. Finally, I would try to re-connect minorities (Assyrians, Yezidis, and Shabaks) to Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan by accepting their history and uniqueness + adding some festivals and holidays to normalize their cultures. I mean, it's 2023 and we have clowns who act like Newroz is Paganism, so you think they like Akito? That's why education is needed.

We have an education system, but we still post history on Facebook and blogs. We have academic events for debates, but we do it on YouTube and Twitter. I mentioned the historical event problem, but who is going to listen? I'm even more depressed about Kurdification and Arabization of this country as they make minorities feel excluded.

According to Christianity, Demons are all evil because they defied Yahweh, and they're irredeemable. However, Islamic Djinns can be far more complex. They still faced discrimination due to Assyrians being a bit too friendly with Ba'ath, but they were not killed so it was fine to them. To Kurds, Assyrians are more of a random neighbor than an enemy 😅
