  1. Well that's a given. We could also say that just because an argument is logically sound the conclusion could be incorrect if any of the premises are false. Likewise if you have correct premises but your conclusions are incorrect because you're following a fallacy you have an incorrect conclusion. In all cases however we need to know what the conclusion is but if we don't know at best we can say, this argument proves or disproves something or is invalid. An invalid argument does not prove or disprove the proposition one is arguing for.
