@seanpatrick1243 Do you get paid in St Petersburg?

@Zuuzaankaaa Me too, I'm also Polish but I also live in the West. I just think and I have good reason to think so, that the current regime will not be as effective at managing the Russians as the previous one. The current crew after all bungled the ABM shield deal with the Americans back under Bush and Obama. Kaczor's brother died in Smolensk, and so he is very anti-Russian. And that's a good thing.

@seanpatrick1243 And now the new government took over TVP. The courts have never been decommunised. Have you lived under a communist system because I did and we never joined the PZPR unlike many who now speak of democracy. Again you don't understand Poland and you should not repeat propraganda. And I'm sorry but I had to escape Poland in 1981 to get away from the authoritarianism.

@SiliconCurtain You have to remember who the first Western leaders in Kyiv were, the very first ones. As for divisiveness you can see that the overall goal is security against Russia. The people here are using cheap political tricks or are Russian trolls who are taking advantage of the situation because Russians always exploit weaknesses. They may as well be pro-Russian regardless. Rachon was pushed out of TVP when TVP was taken over by a new regime. Now he's on the sidelines on TV Republika but you have to remember that 35% or more of Poles still side with him. You can bring in pro-Ukrainian figures from the current ruling party, nobody will be offended. But note how undemocratic the hate here is.

The grain should be going to Africa but instead gets dumped in the EU. If the EU cared it would pay the farmers and send the grain to Africa where people are starving. It wasn't going there. The Ukrainian grain is run by multinational Western concerns.

@05KAR yes on TV Republika which is funded by donors.
1
@05KAR and gets donations from ordinary people. Now TVP is owned by Tusk and his crew. In Poland each regime takes over the TVP and runs it any way it wants. Wyborcza is a left wing paper completely . TV N has left wing sympathies and was biased towards the former opposition. Republika is the only TV news agency which is not biased pro the ruling coalition. So? There has to be balance in terms of the media landscape.

Spot on. But City of London did get rich from these crazy Russian investments too. How much did they clean up of that?

@seanpatrick1243 Putin was built up by Germany. Where is Gerhard Shroeder? Why was Germany investing more in Russia despite the annexation of Crimea and war in the Donbas? My ideology? I'm more of a libertarian but unlike you I've endured actual communism. I'm sorry an Irishman who knows nothing about Poland is going to lecture me? Look you co-operated with Germany in WW2. And you're far from Russia. So kindly educate yourself. Orban? I don't love Orban, but for Poland Schreduer and the Germans were the people who made Poland weaker (by being against the Bush/Obama led anti-ballistic missile shield) and by building Nordstream 1 and 2 all the while Poland paid higher prices for gas and petrol from Russia, which went to build up the Russian army. I'm sorry. Orban helped to offset the German/French heaviness of the EU. By the way the Germans don't even hate Orban, they're doing good business with him. Please my Irish friend, stick to your own country, you know NOTHING about Poland.

@jezalb2710 Ah so you would put me in prison. How's St Petersburg?
1
@maritaschweizer1117 Polish farmer? All EU farmers. The others are also striking. Why are you anti-Polish?
1
@maritaschweizer1117 When Poland JOINED the EU. But Ukraine did not join the EU. Ukrainian grain is farmed in old kolkhozes which are foreigner and oligarch run. They don't follow EU practices. The whole point of Poland in the EU was that Poland had to meet EU conditions. It's more expensive to grow in Poland because we follow EU laws and regulations. I'm shocked you don't know this. Come on.

@SiliconCurtain Bring in people from Stategy and Future, I would recommend Marek Budzisz.

Remember that the first Western leaders to risk their lives and go to Kyiv in 2022 were Poland's Morawiecki and Kaczynski. Conservatives. When did Scholtz and Macron go there? Long after Patriots were installed.

He got a new left boss who fired him. Polish TVP is controlled by whichever government is in power. I suppose you're ok that your guys are in power, so they can control the narrative their way?
