@dorian6021 Yes. Time for other Asian states to take over. Japan had a long run but they need to accept they're not competitive anymore.

@dorian6021 I'm not jealous. I just don't see why Japan should hog everything because it has a big marketing budget. Everyone should have a chance. Maybe you should explore other fashions in other parts of Asia and the world. Eh? And I'm sorry - jealous? Why would I be jealous? I'm a highly respected professional and people would never say this to my face, in real life you would not either. Be respectful.

Hopefully the Chinese or someone else takes over. The Japanese have been hogging too much. Let other people do something for a change. Thankfully their heyday has passed. Out with the old, someone will bring something new.

@dorian6021 No. I'm saying that let global attention go to other parts of the world. Japan gets too much of the pie. Let others prosper for a change. They're the THIRD RICHEST COUNTRY in the world. Let someone else make some money and have some fashion for a change.

@kohtayasuda1984 It will not arise when all attention is hogged by Japan. Japan is put on a pedestal and that disadvantages so many other people and cultures. Because people see Asia as "Japan" and the rest as "primitive". That's how people judge. Japanese companies also spend billions on promotions of their brands for marketing purposes. For me it's sad that more poor places stay poor because rich people only know Japan and that sort of fashion. Thankfully Asia is slowly catching up. Japan should not be the 3rd richest country in the world, but should be ranked by population size and have an economy which is commensurate with that. Anything else is a product of bias in the way the international system works.

@dorian6021 You would definitely show respect to my face given that highly ranked people do so. I do the same to everyone. You're not brought up well. Maybe you're a punk kid. Anyhow I don't see the fawning over Japanese fashion as it's nothing special. It's not better to other things people produce the world over. People like it because Japan has a weeb attraction and also a big marketing budget. I'm also an egalitarian. In the way I would oppose discrimination against Japanese I oppose too much simping for them and glorifiying them as though they are gods and their fashion is so special. It's not. If Harajuku fashion is fading it means someone else has taken over. Why not study other fashion trends instead of being aggresive with strangers and accusatory? Anyway I doubt your parents are proud of you. I would not be if you were my son or daughter or my student.

@bigfrankfraser1391 Too many weebs worship Japan. I for one am (ALMOST) happy China will dominate them but as said, ALMOST.
