Britain is a country which was anti-Polish through most of its history. Even after WW1 ended the Brits sided with Germans more than Poles and it was thanks to the French and Poles own hardship that Poland's independence was restored. The Americans helped a bit too. But Britain has a title of PERFIDIOUS ALBION. That is the quintessential British attitude. Anglo-Chauvinism. Britain is only a so-so ally for Poland.

Scotland being part of the UK has been anti-Polish for most of its history. Your ancestors hurt Poland so much. Sadly attitudes carry over. Poland has no friend in Britain.

@michalinamarkowska8930 That's not entirely true. Poland was reborn because of the efforts of countless Poles at home and abroad, many of whom maintained the Polish language and Catholic religion. Remember Poland was being Russified in the east and Germanified in the West. Wilson helped Poland but was not the sine qua non of why Poland returned. Poland would have returned ultimately if not for WW1 then in WW2 or later. But for Poland's return you needed POLISHNESS and that was the Polish language with traditions and mainly the Catholic Church. Without the Catholic Church, no Poland. Without the maintenance of the language by Polish parents at home when Polish school was forbidden, no Poland. Thank you. Remember also that America owes a lot to Poland too. It's possible the Americans would have lost their war against the British were it not for Kosciszko saving Gen Washington and for Pulaski for not strenthening and actually founding the US cavalry. Countless Poles contributed to America, including the inventor of the hydrogen bomb, of the Uman-Teller device.

Also Brits are quite racist and elitist. Anglo-chauvinism. As a Pole living in South Africa for 30 years, it was mainly the British who were chauvinist. The more Germanic Afrikaaners were more friendly.
