  1.  @west_park7993  There were 1000s of Catholic priests who were k1lled by the Nazi Germans in WW2. There is for example the case of St Maksymilian Kolbe (who previously worked in Japan) who was murdered by the German nazis in Auschwitz. Dachau was full of Catholic priests and the Church saved 1000s of Jews by giving fake baptism certificates to Jewish kids in WW2.

  4.  @MikeMPharmaCyclist  Depends on what sort of priest. Not anyone can be a Catholic priest, it takes many years of study and prep. But I suppose for some protestants, anyone can be, I suppose. Note that he appears on a Lotus Eaters Podcast channel which also features the atheist Sargon of Akkad.

  5.  @selenacaemawr  This guy, called a priest by many, is Anglican. That's all that's relevant. He's not Catholic. He's Anglican. According to the official website of the Canadian Anglican church they say: "Minister and priest are both terms used in the Anglican Church". So you're mistaken.

  8. This is not true. Catholics voted against Hitler. Hitler had the least support in Catholic parts of Germany. Why do you spread lies like this? Mussolini did not have Catholic support. He was an atheist. The left in Spain had pogroms against Catholics. Why do you omit this?

After the war some members of the clergy assisted some Germans including Nazis to get away from the new enemy, Stalinist communism. Please don't spread misinformation.
