  7.  @kjp1232  These high iq politicians keep the country running, mate. It's why a CEO of Barclays is paid a bit more than a teller. Britain was traditionally a class society. So accept that your betters are scoring and living the high life. In the past the average Brit had to slave away at the factory or go to the poorhouse. Now things are much better. But you are still in the G7, the no 4 or 5 richest country in the world. Be proud of that. Rule Britannia and tally ho.

  8. The UK got rich for two reasons. 1. British empire and colonialism. 2. Industrial revolution. You guys lost the colonies. And others are making and innovating too. Nobody wants to buy your products. So why should your country countinue to be rich. Invent perpetual motion and maybe you'll be rich again. But failing that you must become poor.

  9. Poland is a bit f-ed. There may be a war with Russia and then Poland will be blitzed. Poland is in more trouble than the UK. So stay in the UK, at least she has nuclear weapons.

  10.  @nataliamach7248  Not as much. Poland was not an imperialist colonial master state. The different people who moved to the UK did so because of the colonies and the common language. Poland had no colonies. And Poland speaks Polish a relatively exotic and extremely difficult language which people in the middle east and parts of Africa don't speak. Also Poland is very homogenous while the UK already has these migrant and diverse communities. Also the UK is seen as far richer, stronger and so on, Poland is poor and will continue to be seen as poor. We're happy with that. Poms- we are poor. You stay on your Island or go to your former colonies and travel on your 1st class passport. Don't come too much to Poland unless you are a charitable, well adjusted, and decent person. We have too many hooligans already.
