  2. Nintendo needs to sue. And you guys need to follow the copyright holders' wishes. If you want you to emulate your legally purchased games on some other platform, you then can't do it.

  3. If you guys respect the ojisans at Nintendo Japan, you will not emulate their games (even if purchased legally). Buy their consoles and buy their games.

  4.  @vayne7556  You can't. The developer or rather the publisher (or IP holder) does not want you to play their games. Strictly speaking you don't have a right to play those games. I'm sorry but that's how it is.

  6.  @LE_Arasaka  I agree. But the copyright holder has a right (legal and moral) to decide how you use their IP. If Nintendo does not want you to play their old games, you're not allowed to play them. They want you to buy their new things. Property rights allow Nintendo to deny you the right to play their games if your old (no longer sold) conmsole breaks but you still have the purchased games.
