True. He should have stuck to a "wholesome" Japanese activity such as buying 12 year old junior idol DVDs or going to a handshaking event with little girls. I'm sorry but Japan has greater priorities and that's to deal with their child exploitation issues.

For a supposed intelligent (educated) society, so many people assume stupid things quickly. And they don't seem to trust each other.

To be fair, some Japanese do get away with garbage. There is a sister city programme all over the world. Well some Japanese cities have dropped their twin/sister city program with those cities where memorials to Korean comfort women were built. Korean comfort women were women in Korea, during WW2, who were forced into prostitution by Japanese soldiers.

@toolegittoquit_001 If so well mannered why were they so barbaric in the 1940s? What changed since then? And why only ban child porn 10 years ago?

I don't know. Eating raw fish and one of the highest rates of stomach cancer in the world, and cleanliness...

Ask them about junior idols and ask why Japan only banned child porn about 10 years ago. DO you know that had this guy gone to an event where he can gawk and sing along with 12 year olds, it would have been acceptable? Ask those nice people about that. By the way Japan is trying to stimulate tourism. It's a major Japanese government issue. The way I see it that many people there are unfriendly and not so tolerant despite voting for governments which want to stimulate tourism. They're a somewhat xenophobic society. You know rowdy and rude tourists occur everywhere but we don't lose our sh=t over them. Somehow something this mild occurs and weebs around the world rush out to defend Japan. My goodness.

That's why they only banned child porn about 10 years ago and they still produce it as "junior idol gravure". Amazon Japan sells these. So much for honour.
