You made a video earlier claiming Poles favour social order over individual rights, so similar to Asia. That's not entirely true. Poland was the only country outside of Great Britain to have individual protections for people - laws similar to Habeas Corpus and later Constitution of 3rd May were passed. Poland enjoyed the largest number of voters in the world in past centuries, more than in the UK and before the US was created. Poles had LIBERO VETUM where one MP could scuttle a whole law initiative when he vetoed it. That comes from Polish individualism and liberty. That was tempered somewhat by communism but even so that's still in our traditions and we refer back to our traditions. So Poland is not like autocratic countries eg Prussia or Holy Roman Empire or Russia but is more like the United States. Google people like Tadeusz Kosciuszko and Pulaski. Now Poles do have the continental law system and much of that is Napoleonic and we have had communism where you know it was more collectivist and "Comrade Mr this" or "comrade doctor that" but we are proud of our liberal traditions. Did you know that when WW1 ended Poland gave women the vote? France did not, because women were too conservative. Did you know Poland made homosexuality legal in the 1920s, while in the UK and US it was punishable by jail?

@WheresWes Dude it depends on the invidual. I'm a guy who is 49 but I look younger than you. I'm Polish. BUT I do one thing. I avoid the sun. I don't smoke. My mother in her 70s looked 50. My father in his 80s looks 60. It all depends on the family and how people look after themselves. I don't use any skin creams but I avoid the sun, especially on my face. Living mostly in Cape Town, SA doesn't help because the UV index is high here but I still succeed at it.

We get it. Polish women are cheap and will fall for any American guy. Americans are celebs in Poland.

I like how he identifies as an East Asian, yet he is a total American lecturing Poles about how to make their country better after being still a punk kid and only being there for several years. And those clickbait thumbnails are not true, Poles don't shoot at unarmed border-crossers. Come on.

@WheresWes My response was a bit hyperbolic. The sort of 'get off my lawn' response. I didn't miss it. I don't mind people lecturing. Just that you said you're East Asian and of that temperament but those people tend to be subdued, docile and quiet. They don't like to stand out. It's the Americans who are loud and in your face. So you're American, like it or not. Those guys who put the feet on the coffee table. In the 1960s my grandfather had his car knocked by a US diplomat. It was in Warsaw. The guy rear ended him. The man told him to meet him at the US consulate and actually invited him for a drink. He put his feet on the table and went on and on about something. But when it looked like he didn't want to pay for the damage, my grandfather told him that, well - it's nice that he invited him but he's beating about the bush and being cheap like the Russians. He should not waste his time. Anyway the guy got angry but paid up. My grandfather later had a dossier at the UB for that visit to the US consulate. Have a good day. :)

@TheRezro No. Good customer service is important. The service in many stores in Europe is rude. Polish service used to be terrible where they would curse you out in the 80s but it's still not the best service. They take a tea break and tell you to sod off. Yes PLUS cell phone outlets in PL do that. Good customer service isn't about ki11sing a$$ but about being courteous and efficient.

Just behave normally. There is no walking on eggshells in Poland. Except maybe, don't diss the Catholic Church. Some may like it, but in general don't diss it and you'll be fine.
