Politicians won't pass windfall profits taxes to curb corporate price gouging because of their corporate donors, then Jerome Powell as fed chief raises interest rates which in turns hurts everyone else. When this corporate-inflicted economic collapse happens, then the government uses taxpayer funds from you and me to bail out these same corporate scumbags. These scumbag corporations (or their remains) merge and get bigger, then the corruption grows as a new cycle beings
