The fact that straight couples can get knocked up and gay couples have to think about and do a lot of work to become parents means that it is more likely that a gay couple would be better at parenting. I was the last one born into a strict Catholic family, where both my mother and father were abusive and hated each other but would never divorce. It took me years to realize that my straight parents probably resented me for being born. "Straight parents" do not necessarily make "good parents".
