  1. The investigation and reporting were conducted by the following outlets: The Sunday Times, The Times, and Channel 4 Dispatches. All of those media outlets are UK-based. It makes no sense that Brand would be reported on by three UK-based outlets as retaliation for appearing on Bill Maher's US-based show. If it was due to Brand's anti-pharma views, the UK has the National Health Service which negotiates drug prices and does not suffer the same outrageous drug prices as in the USA.
