  1. I live in a blue state. My city is putting in a new homeless center. Are they putting it in proximity to where the most homeless people hang out, like downtown or in nearby business districts? No. Instead, my city is putting the new homeless center way on the north end of town where there are few businesses and where homeless people are much less likely to use or even find the new center. Why? Because the north end of town is the lower income part where much of the crime already happens, far away from the rich people downtown. Yet another NIMBY. Horrible.
