As for the Democrats' political chances in 2024, one member of the Biden administration said on TV recently that they are not worried because the Dems have won recent elections in 2022 and this off year. That is true, but those wins are mostly due to the backlash against taking abortion rights away. In any case, the Biden vs. Trump race will be different. No other candidate controls the GOP base like Trump. Biden was already troubled in polling. This will make it much worse for Biden.
