The opposition party should never bail out the party in control. Why would the Dems do that? It would be incredibly stupid. I don't expect Republicans to vote for the Democratic leader when the Dems get back in control either. Andrew Yang does not understand basic politics.

@ezyryder11 One party wants to help people. The other party wants to overthrow free and fair elections, storm the Capitol building they are in, then lie about it saying it was just a bunch of "tourists", and elect a fascist candidate under multiple indictments as president. Bipartisan??? Seriously, not possible.

@ezyryder11 Dems cannot get anything from the fascist GOP anyway. The only times Dems have gotten anything were when the debt ceiling needed to be raised and when the spending bill needed to be passed. But that was what led to McCarthy's ouster. Yes, Dems will have to negotiate with the Repubs in <45 days to avoid shutdown again. But voting for the Repub House Speaker would not have guaranteed the spending bill would get passed. Seriously, you really think that Republicans are going to negotiate Medicare for All? No. Let the Republicans fight each other. Then defeat them in the next election.
