Bolsonaro was banned from running for office for 8 years. In sharp contrast, Merrick Garland blocked investigations into Trump for > 1 year, then waited to appoint special counsel Jack Smith, which resulted in 0 federal convictions. Brazil convicted Bolsonaro in 2 years. The USA did not stop Trump in 4 years.
