  1. This is so sad. I am a gay, cisgender man. I wanted to kill myself constantly through my teens and early 20s. I had not come out yet, but I had suffered from so much abuse and bullying. Years in therapy. In my 30s, my mother passed and my 5 older siblings and abusive father went batshit crazy. False allegations against me and harassing me after routine surgery, until I almost died. So I cut my family out of my life, the best thing I ever did. Such a relief for me, now in my 50s. I feel bad for people who cannot do that. I refuse to keep people who cause me harm as part of my life.
