In 2005, Thomas Friedman released a book called "The World Is Flat", in which he wrote that globalization is good bc it creates a level playing field in which most competitors have equal opportunity. After the global economic collapse in 2008, Thomas Friedman came out with "Hot, Flat, and Crowded". Instead of admitting he was wrong about globalization, Friedman shifted to a different topic. Thomas Friedman is the opportunistic parasite, who makes money from whichever way the wind is blowing and is usually destructively wrong.
