  1. Not exactly the same, but say you are buying a house. For some reason at closing you say, "End the genocide in Gaza." Then the seller decides they don't want to sell to you but that they are going to keep all of your money anyway. Would that ever be OK? No. So colleges should never be allowed to withhold a graduate's diploma and transcripts just because they exercised their free speech rights.
