  1. I like Rep. Maxwell Frost's chart. Something no one knew at the time was how that would turn out. Kevin McCarthy tried to appease the far-right extremists by bringing the impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden with no evidence and no vote to do so. Even after that, because McCarthy would not shutdown the government, the far-right extremists still voted McCarthy out. The lesson: you cannot appease far-right extremists. They will never be satisfied.
