What is different now is that the Democratic Party knows that they can throw Progressives under the bus. They did it to Bernie in both 2016 and 2020. AIPAC did it to Bowman and Bush in 2024. Now the Dems are doing it to AOC. This will not get better. The Democratic Party will not be fixed because it cannot be fixed. I don't have an answer to this, other than not participating within the Democratic Party. Maybe Progressives can make change locally instead.
