  1. Biden ceded his power to Sinema and Manchin the first two years of his presidency. That did not seem to hurt Dems in 2022. But if Biden cedes his power to McCarthy and MTG, then I think that means disaster for Biden and the Dems in the 2024 election. Trump already seems to have big momentum going into the 2024 primaries, which are still many months away. Plus, Trump has every major cable news network in the tank for him except for one. Being weak is not something which will help Biden and the Dems, especially not now.
