  1. Time does not exist, but is an illusion to us. In reality, everything happens all at once. These objects are human-made from sometime in what we consider the future. They appear infrequently to us only when our illusion of time momentarily breaks down. None of my comment has any basis in science or logic; it is a mere uninformed, uneducated hunch.

  2. We are lucky aliens have never visited us. If they have the technology to travel to our planet, then we would be completely at their mercy.
