  1. Great Britain was once such a powerful empire that it went to war with what is now the USA. (I won't tell you how that turned out.) In contrast, now it appears that the UK wants to be the USA's lapdog, even if it means following the USA over the cliff. This specifically applies to the Labo(u)r Party, with leaders like Tony Blair and Kier Starmer. I don't understand why the UK keeps following the USA over the cliff.
