The fact that NY AG James has already gotten a partial summary judgement in the civil case against Trump, which is very rare for a prosecutor to get, shows that the Manhattan DA's criminal case against Trump was likely very strong even back in early 2022. Two respected lawyers who had been hired just for that criminal case quit in protest and later spoke publicly about DA Alvin Bragg's bizarre dropping of that criminal case in early 2022 shortly after Bragg took office. If Alvin Bragg had not stupidly dropped the criminal case against Trump in early 2022, Trump very well could have already been convicted by now.
