Harris also let Trump's Treasury Sec'y Mnuchin off the hook. His hedge fund bought up failed IndyMac bank, then foreclosed on many homeowners in California using robosigners to lie to the courts by saying due diligence was done. It was not. People in Harris' CA attorney general's office said there was enough evidence to bring charges. Mnuchin gave Harris $25,000 for her re-election campaign. I guess that is how much it costs to buy Harris off. Update: It was OneWest Bank, not IndyMac and Mnuchin gave Harris' campaign $2,000 not $25K.

It's New Orleans. People should complain if this isn't going on.

This video is not for you. It is for your parents, grandparents, uncles, and aunts. They are the ones who spend hours and hours a day with Fox News on. Send a link to this video to all of them. Tell them to stop polluting their minds.

Watch Andrea Mitchell take a question from a Clinton aide during a Hillary press conference and then ask Hillary that question (a real journalist should have been fired for this): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqYQ2OtggPw

I had a friend who was a Hillary supporter who blamed me for Al Gore losing in 2000. He screamed at me that because I voted for Nader, that was why Gore lost. I lived in freaking Texas at the time. There is no way Gore would have ever won George W. Bush's home state of Texas no matter whom I voted for. I have some friends who were Hillary supporters who were reasonable and respected me. But I saw just as many Hillary supporters who were yelling and screaming at me. They were worse than when I tried to argue with Republicans in the past. I've had it with them. Hillary Clinton lost because she was a very flawed candidate. Period.

McCaskill didn't just lose, she was an incumbent senator who lost. That should be the safest seat in congress. Why Trump gets away with "gaffes": 1. Trump has no shame. He is a narcissist. 2. Repubs back Trump no matter how bad he is. Biden does not have that luxury. He cares when he misspeaks. Trump would thoroughly defeat Biden.
2
As I was watching this, I had CNN on my TV with the sound muted. CNN had a host with two guests talking about the Democratic debates. One guest was from the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign and the other was from the 2016 Ted Cruz campaign. That is CNN's idea of representing "both sides".
2
You're completely wrong. The Biden campaign has put out a major(!), exciting(!!), new(!!!) press release about getting young people to vote for Biden. No, it's not M4A or free college, or even marijuana legalization. It's much better! You can now put up "Vote Biden" signs in the Animal Crossing game. This will surely win over young people!!!
2
Even Hillary apologized for voting for the Iraq War. Biden just rewrites history by saying he was immediately against the war after he voted for it. Maybe Warren could just apologize for voting a massive increase in defense spending for Trump in 2017. But trying to talk around it just leaves the impression that she really can't be trusted.

RFK, jr., is an environmental lawyer. WTF is an environmental lawyer doing running Health and Human Services. Major failure.

From the video: "Amy Klobuchar has the personality of a dead fish." I completely disagree. Dead fish are far more interesting than Amy Klobuchar.

Phil Gramm was co-chair and senior economic advisor to John McCain's presidential campaign in 2008. Gramm on July 9, 2008: "You've heard of mental depression; this is a mental recession...We have sort of become a nation of whiners..." Phil Gramm was referring to fear about an economic recession under then-president George W. Bush. Nine days later, Phil Gramm had to resign from the McCain campaign.

Biden in Iowa: he is for science, not fiction; for the truth, not the facts. Seriously. He really said that.

Trump won some Obama voters in 2016. I doubt many Obama-Trump or Hillary voters will vote for Trump this time. The question is are they just not going to vote in 2020. Less of an issue, states Trump won in 2016 like Wisconsin and Michigan now have Democratic governors. Maybe that will prevent voter disenfranchisement in those states or at least drive people to vote with their governor. Third, COVID-19 is a big motivator against Trump.

Donald Trump's biggest ally in congress is Nancy Pelosi. She is the only person standing between Trump and impeachment hearings.

I thought the first ad was going to be a stadium empty because so many people died from COVID-19. It would be better to show people, in stadiums, stores, and nursing homes, then have them disappear one by one. Then cut to fast pans over rows and rows of cemetery gravestones, with the tagline, "This is how Donald Trump handled COVID-19. 187,000 dead Americans and counting."

Even if Biden had said, "put on Spotify," that still would have been a bad answer. What year is Biden living in? And social workers are generally sent to homes for serious problems like child abuse. Is Biden saying that all black parents are committing child abuse? Joe Biden could literally take a dump on the stage and the mainstream media would say he did well.

The Trump boat parade on Lake Travis in Texas is outside Austin, which is very left wing. Lake Travis has the only legally clothing optional park in the state of Texas (at least it was in 2007). The nude park is called Hippie Hollow and is run by Travis County where Austin is located. Right wingers have a habit of going where they are not wanted.

Dj Luminol Thanks. I did look up a few articles, some from 2017 when Mnuchin was being tapped as Treasury Sec'y. I got a couple facts wrong. I don't see any connection with IndyMac, rather it was OneWest bank that Mnuchin ran. Mnuchin gave Harris's campaign $2,000 not the $25K I wrote earlier. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/kamala-harris-has-to-answer-for-not-prosecuting-steve_b_5980d18ee4b09d231a518205 https://theintercept.com/2017/01/05/kamala-harris-fails-to-explain-why-she-didnt-prosecute-steven-mnuchins-bank/ https://www.cnbc.com/2019/01/26/kamala-harris-has-complicated-history-with-wall-street.html

BBC has TV shows that go out with British ambulance workers. One show goes out with helicopter ambulances. One time the paramedic told the patient after they put him into the helicopter, "Isn't it great that this is completely paid for? It would be very expensive if you had to pay the bill yourself."
1
You want Medicare 4 All or the Green New Deal or Free Public College? How are you going to pay for it? You want $715 billion in one year alone for the military or a $1 trillion tax cut for the wealthiest? No questions asked. CNN is corrupt. As are MSNBC and Fox. Solution: 1. Stop watching them. 2. Tell your family and friends how corrupt they are.
1
Manchin got most of what he wanted, which predictably failed catastrophically, so now he lies about the people whose policies probably would have worked. Good riddance to Manchin.
1
Gravel is a great guy. He just wanted to be in the debates so he could shift the debate to the left, but the corrupt DNC wouldn't let him. Ryan was foolish to stay in after the first debate, but I agree that he is done. Delaney is the eccentric millionaire who doesn't know how much of an embarrassment he is. Delaney should never have run in the first place.

The progressives spreading this garbage are engaging in a circular firing squad. They are the ones we need to reject.

I had FHP HMO (no longer there) in CA. I chose it bc it had out of network coverage. I moved to Texas and had a hospitalization. Afterwards, FHP retroactively disenrolled me! After a lot of haranguing with my employer, they got Blue Cross to cover most of my large hospital bill. Years later, United Healthcare would deny the same claim from the same provider about once out of every four claims. That never got straightened out, and I had to pay for all those appts. Under Obamacare, it took 3 months to get an appt with my primary. Private healthcare sucks.
1
Yeah, but in 2016 Hillary was way up in the polls. I hope 2024 is not like 2016.
1
If the Dem establishment hears this, they will pick Oprah, who will lose. Don't get me wrong, I like Oprah. But she would lose an election to Hulk Hogan, etc. This whole argument may be moot if Trump actually does stop elections and stays in office instead.

Donald Trump is very consistent. Trump always lies.

Bernie's people do a disservice when they don't let him rest before national television events. What's strange about Castro is that he and Biden were in the Obama admin together. So they probably worked together closely. Castro is right for calling out Biden's decline. Castro isn't ageist; otherwise, he would have attacked Bernie too. More candidates need to call out Biden's decline. That should disqualify Biden.
1
Amy is in low single digits in Iowa, when she comes from Minnesota which is directly above Iowa. She should be in the top 2 or 3 candidates in Iowa but they don't like her either. Her argument against getting rid of rich kids' college debt is worse than the social security argument. Rich kids by definition do not have college debt. And Bernie's plan would give free tuition for public colleges; rich kids go to private colleges. So that is not even an issue.
1
I like the "House of Cards" analogy better. The federal government has done to the working class what Kevin Spacey allegedly did to several boys.

CBS is very protective of their intellectual property. Then they go and steal yours.

Chuck Todd is horrible. Diversity is a very important thing. But diversity is not the only thing. Having the best policies, the best track record, and the best judgment should take precedence over what color, age, or race someone is. Who are Sen. Sanders' co-sponsors in the House on a lot of bills? AOC, Omar, Tlaib, Jayapal, and Lee -- all women of color, many of them younger.
1
I hope this is right. It will be Biden/Harris (which is really Harris/Biden, but don't tell anyone that). It's good that he picked a black woman, especially after all his anti-black comments. But whether voters will care about both Biden's and Harris's checkered pasts remains to be seen.
1
I cut off contact with my family around 2006, not because of politics but because they were abusive to me in different ways. It was the best decision I have ever made.
1
If Jeff Weaver wants to help your campaign, just walk the other way. I can forgive the Bernie campaign for messing up in 2016 when they were inexperienced, but the failure in 2020 was devastating. They learned nothing.
1
Much of the problem in 2000 was due to Republicans controlling Florida (which they still do). However, Democrats have won control of a few crucial swing states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Virginia. All those states had Republican governors in 2016 but Democratic governors now. So those swing states can hold off on rolling out results until much of the mail-in ballots get counted.
1
The Titanic was a wonderful ship until it hit the iceberg. Greenspan was supposed to be not just an expert on the economy, but THE expert. For him to only realize how wrong he was after the collapse is unconscionable.
1
I agree with this video except for one important part left out. What really matters is how are voters doing RIGHT NOW! Good policies take time. Democrats have screwed around for decades while letting the working class hurt. Inflation sharply took hold during COVID. Nothing the Democrats and Joe Biden did, alleviated that. Sure, the inflation rates are down from where they were, but the shock of much higher prices still exists. And the prices themselves for the most part have not come back down and will not go back down. It's the economy, stupid.

Be careful watching thunderf00t's videos. Yes, his videos do seem to be science- and fact-based. However, thunderf00t also seems to be a white supremacist. I stopped watching his videos after he used an MLK, jr. speech to claim that white people were somehow discriminated again.
1
It wasn't just the superdelegates. That was the visible corruption. The joint fundraising agreement and polling irregularities were the covert corruption. Never do Hillary Clinton a favor. She will just blame you for all of her failures and never say, "thank you", or "I'm sorry". And how does a party use taxpayer dollars to run primaries, and then defraud the public? Isn't that a crime?
1
MSNBC is garbage. Real journalists don't do this shit.
1
Trump talks about Mars when his head is already in Uranus.
1
DNC rigged the 2016 primaries. For 2020 DNC refused to stop taking $ from fossil fuel companies and refuses to have a climate crisis debate, calling climate "just one issue"! DNC is inherently corrupt and cannot be changed. If Biden or Buttigieg gets the nomination, they will lose to Trump. So we need a new left-wing party to squish the DNC. That's the only way to truly stop this corruption.

Sorry, Carville, but this version of "Tales from the Crypt" is not very good.
