  1. I do not believe Elon Musk, and I wish he would step down and shut up. But Tesla is no Theranos or Nikola either. If Tesla sold cars which could not be driven home, or if SpaceX produced rockets which never got off the launchpad, then that comparison would be legitimate. This is not an either-or, black-or-white situation. Because Musk has had success in both Tesla and SpaceX, he is able to get away with a lot of alleged lies. Currently, Elon Musk in my opinion is sabotaging his own success more than ever. I just with he would shut up. I am tired of hearing from him.

  2. The thing about Brexit which was so obvious is, who would have the trading power after Brexit: the EU or the UK? The UK has a much smaller economy than the EU. The UK needs the EU much, much more than the EU needs the UK. Therefore, the EU gets to set most of the trading rules. So the UK did Brexit to make their own rules, but now after Brexit the UK still has to abide by the EU's trading rules. That does not even touch on all the other things the UK gave up, like freedom of movement, less red tape, etc., before Brexit.

  4. Electric pickup trucks do have a market. Ford F150 Lightning and Rivian have sold many units. However, Cybertruck does not seem to be very practical. Its bed not look very large. The back seat may have headroom problems due to its angular shape. The problems with a stainless steel body, like production, crashes, and repairs, were well known long ago from the Delorean Motor Company. Getting locked inside due to electronic door handles failing was also a problem for Deloreans.

  5. I wonder whether the pilot who claims that you cannot change your focus realizes that he can both see out the window of his plane as well as the instrument panel inside his plane, clearly. (The human eye is soft. Muscles around the eye change the shape of the eye, which alters the distance from the lens to the back of the eye where the light is detected. This change in distance changes the focal length.)
