  1. 1. HIs charity, Friends of Pets United, was not a real charity. 2. He bought dogs from Amish people, then wrote bad checks for them. He claimed that someone had stolen his checkbook and forged his signature, but that does not explain why they would do that to pay for dogs George Santos allegedly stole. 3. He claimed he was a Broadway producer, yes, but of the deeply troubled play "Spiderman". 4.He claimed that he got a part in Steven Spielberg's movie "Independence Day" from Mr. Spielberg. He was not in the film and Steven Spielberg was not connected to that film. 5. (My favorite) During the 2022 televised debate, his Democratic opponent said he and his family liked to put on sweats and watch "It's a Wonderful Life" when asked to name his holiday tradition. When George Santos was then asked the same question, he replied Put on sweats and watch "It's a Wonderful Life", lying in real time.
