This would be entirely legal in my home country, the USA, where we have nearly unlimited legalized hate speech. We also have nearly unlimited legalized gun ownership. I am working to leave the USA.

@galemartin9155 For now...the Republican Party wants to make this a theocratic authoritarian state. See Dobbs. See the recent Louisiana law mandating the 10 commandments in every public school classroom. etc., etc. There are other countries which are far less controlled by religion even now than the USA is.

@danpatterson8009 That sounds like you are defending this. Seriously, just because something may be legal in a different country does not make it morally or ethically correct.

@danpatterson8009 Emigration, the movement of a person OUT of a country, is not an issue here. Most countries, other than say North Korea or similar totalitarian regimes, do not restrict emigration. Very strange comment.

@Kazutoification Europe. It costs a lot of money, and is usually a very long, difficult process to move to another country. I am lucky because I have passive income (e.g. retirement) so I won't need a work permit there. I lived in Europe 2018-2020. I loved it there.

@castrinecubique983 No one disputed that I have the legal right to leave the USA. It is absurd that anyone would comment on that, unless they did not know that leaving the USA is legal. It's like if I posted a reply "that is your right to go to drive a car" on a video about grocery shopping. Yes, my reply would technically be true; however, it would be nonsensical in that everyone already knows that. Furthermore, he was not clear about which "right" he was commenting on. That is why I had assumed he was commenting on hate speech. That was the focus of the video, and is not the same in other countries like Canada.
