Another twist: NBC News tonight reported the name and photo of the guy Matt Gaetz claims is allegedly extorting him. What makes it weird, if it is the correct guy, is that guy hasn't worked for DOJ in the last 25 years. He has been a lawyer in a law firm for 25 years. Even if he could have found out about the FBI investigation from colleagues still at DOJ, there is no way some outside could "kill" the investigation into Gaetz for $25M.
