I think a lot of websites would shut down because of the mountain of liability against them. The websites which do not shut down would only allow closely human-moderated content, which means from large news and media companies only. The backlash against the Supreme Court would be so severe if people could no longer use social media, I do not see how this could stand. But it would be total chaos at the start.

@blublubblub Wow. I never learned about the SCOTUS decision invalidating legal tender. That was quite an overreach. Thanks for the info.

@tomfinn8076 Good point. When Obama was president, he publicly came out in support of Net Neutrality. A Republican guy I knew walked into the LGBT center and shouted, "Obama just took over the Internet."
