The defense attorney for Chauvin, and it is his job to defend his client, keeps arguing that Chauvin had to keep his knee on Floyd because of the crowd. The crowd was not violent and was not a threat. If Chauvin had done what the crowd wanted, which was also what the police were trained to do, then the defense attorney is arguing, that would have made the crowd become violent. His logic is so twisted and nonsensical.
