  1. We've seen this before. In 2009-2010, Dems had control of the White House and both houses of Congress. Instead of giving voters what we wanted, Dems argued with one another, with conservative Dems getting what they wanted. Dems passed the Republican health plan known as Obamacare. No universal coverage; no single payer; not even a public option. After that, Republicans took back control of both houses in a landslide, and eventually Donald Trump won. History is repeating.
