  1. I am preparing to leave the USA (again) in 2024 or 2025. I feel bad for the people who not only cannot leave the country, but who cannot leave their own state. They must then decide either to go back into the closet or be attacked and prosecuted for who they are. Conditions are more and more favorable for democracy to die and for fascism to take over in the USA. Who would stop a Republican president and a Republican congress? The supreme court?!?
