  1. The Sunrise Movement hates gay men. They pulled an endorsement of Green New Deal backer Alex Morse in his 2020 challenge against establishment congressman Ritchie Neal. Why? Because Alex Morse was smeared for being an openly gay man who had consensual sex with other adult gay men. Green New Deal supporter Alex Morse lost that election to Ritchie Neal, who is one of the worst corporate-funded Democrats in congress, in part due to the Sunrise Movement.
