In normal times, vote for the person you want in the general election. These are not normal times. This is not the time for a message vote. Anyone who does not vote for Joe Biden in 2024, especially in swing states but I would also include other states where Trump has even a slim chance, is supporting the end of democracy and the takeover of fascism. If fascism were to happen, then nothing else matters. You would have no free speech to even debate anything again.

@spicymemes7458 No. Sorry to burst your bubble, but no US president before Trump incited violence and tried to stay in power after he lost. Not even Nixon did that. So, no, since Trump nothing has been the same as it was before. That is what I meant when I wrote that these are not "normal times".

@spicymemes7458 Seriously, you are arguing repeatedly over the meaning of the relative term "normal". 2016 was not "normal" either because we had never elected a businessman with no political experience in his first run as president in recent times. Plus, he was openly racist from the start. But back then it was less certain that Trump would try to overthrow democracy. We cannot even have freedom anymore if Trump gets elected again. Try moving to Europe. I lived in the Netherlands 2018-2020 under the Dutch American Friendship Treaty. It was great there except for the weather. I am considering Portugal if things get really bad here. You have to either have a lot of money or passive income to do that. Or less expensive places. I knew a guy who was trying to move to Costa Rica, and another who moved to Ecuador.
