  1. Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. bought MySpace in 2005 for $580 million. By 2007, MySpace was valued at $12 billion. 2008 was MySpace's best year in terms of US traffic. In 2011, News Corp. sold MySpace for $35 million. Maybe the same thing will happen to Twitter.
