  1. Dems should have scheduled something like three witnesses for each side, not for the final vote but to make a better case for the public. That way, last minute witnesses could be substituted in easily. When the facts are on your side, you want witnesses. I agree that nothing would have changed the outcome. I also think that the Dems made a superb case against Trump. It's rare that I commend the Dems in Congress.
