  1. Larry Summers, darling of the Democratic establishment. (Hit "Read more". Sorry this is so long, but there is so much bad stuff on Summers.) 1991: As president of the World Bank he signed a memo which leaked to the press: "... the economic logic behind dumping a load of toxic waste in the lowest wage country is impeccable and we should face up to that. I've always thought that under-populated countries in Africa are vastly underpolluted. ..." 1999: He supported the repeal of Glass-Steagall while in the Clinton admin. which led to the 2008 Great Recession. 2005: At a STEM workforce diversity conference, he spoke that one of the factors why there are fewer women professors in STEM is "issues of intrinsic aptitude", likely meaning that women are not as smart as men. 2001-2006: While president of Harvard, Summers allegedly protected his economics friend who had been promoting privatization in Russia while violating US laws, leading to Harvard and his friend being sued by and settling with the US gov't for milliions. Russia now has an authoritarian system of oligarchs. Summers reserved a private office at Harvard for Jeffrey Epstein and apparently rode on Epstein's plane at least 4 times. After the Winklevoss twins complained that fellow student Mark Zuckerberg stole their social network idea, Summers sided with Zuckerberg. 2009: After the Great Recession, Summers as part of the Obama admin., urged against infrastructure spending, for tax cuts, for lifting pay caps for executives at bailed-out companies, and for smaller stimulus spending.
